Located at the Mystic Branch in Mystic, CT YMCA Beach Camp is for boys and girls ages 4-15. Licensed by the State of CT, the aim of YMCA Beach Camp is to provide all camper participants a sustained, creative educational experience in cooperative living in an out-of door environment with the focus on the YMCA three-fold philosophy of sprit, mind, and body. The camp runs from 9:00AM-4:00PM (extended care available) and includes programs and activities designed to build character by instilling values such as Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. YMCA Beach Camp aims to encourage group participation & cooperation, building self – confidence & self-esteem and to give each camper an opportunity to develop interests in variety of program areas. Our days includes arts and crafts, archery, canoeing, kayaking, swimming lessons for all ages, group games, nature discovery, free swim and time on the beach.

2008 YMCA Beach Camp will offer 2 one-week sessions and 4 two-week sessions from June 23 – August 29. Each session includes a theme and special events and activities that are age and developmentally
